Eilish Balfe is a mother of three, she works as a care policy officer, giving her time to be a community activist and trade union negotiator - and more. She is passionate about making Ratoath a better place to live and work in. Eilish has been living in Ratoath for 16 years and has seen the good and the bad in terms of development.
''I want more for Ratoath. It's been left behind for too long. No library. No park. No garda station. We now have to work together to get more for our area. The best way to achieve this is by encouraging all the councillors and the local community and statutory groups to work together around a plan for the development of the village and surrounding areas."
"I want to get elected to make a difference. I want much more openness about Council business, including how planning decisions are made and I want the local community to get the most accurate information about what's happening as soon as it's possible to make that information available."
“We have a great team of supporters working for our campaign in Dunboyne, Dunshaughlin, and Ratoath. If you would like to lend your support in any way, we’d be delighted to hear from you.
